2007 Multi-Club Hunt and Save-A-Fawn Hunt

MULTI-CLUB HUNT: January 20, 2007

SAVE-A-FAWN HUNT: January 20 & 21, 2007

TIMES: Legal shooting light on January 20th and legal shooting light until 2:00pm on January 21st.

LOCATION: Heber, Arizona

CAMP AND COOKOUT LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS FROM THE VALLEY:
Take Hwy 87 (Beeline Hwy) north of Mesa to east on Hwy 260 in Payson, to approximately 8 miles south of Heber. Go north at Hwy mile marker 301 on Forest Service Road 210. Our camp will be 2½ miles from Hwy 260 on the right side of the road. We will have a sign off of Hwy 260 and next to the camp on FSR 210.

WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED:
Food from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Saturday January 20th and food from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday January 21st, 2007. We are hoping to secure money from the Arizona Deer Association, Arizona Elk Association and the Arizona Antelope Foundation to offer $50 cash prizes and other incentives on Sunday January 21st. There will be a drawing for each attendee showing up on Sunday January 21st. Each participant will be given one raffle ticket for attending the event on Sunday and one raffle ticket for each coyote or other predator turned in on Saturday or Sunday. The drawing and prizes will take place on Sunday at the conclusion of the Save-A-Fawn event.

PURPOSE OF HAVING BOTH EVENTS ON THE SAME WEEKEND:
To attract more callers and harvest more predators to save more prey. Species (antelope, deer and elk) and to save gas versus having people drive to two events on two weekends. The Best Western Sawmill Inn in Heber will be offering discounted room rates on Friday and Saturday nights. Just mention Stan Schepers name and the hunt and you will receive the discounted rate.
